Knot count: 14 H x 9 V = 126 kpsi.
Colours: orange-red, maroon, dark blue, blue-green, camel, brown, ivory (7).
Condition: areas of wear. Original sides and ends. Corroded browns.
Notes: this pile knotted sofreh is woven with the symmetrical knot, and on this basis was attributed to the Bahluli tribe from northeast Persia and published in the Hali article about this Baluch group (DeWitt Mallary, ‘Bahluli? A Group of Symmetrically Knotted ‘Baluch’ Rugs’, Hali 162, plate 15, p. 72).
