Knot count: 13 H x 20 V = 260 kpsi.
Colours: maroon purple, rust red, dark red, medium blue, dark blue, yellow, emerald green, brown-black, ivory (9).
Condition: very good considering it is half of a double saddle bag, complete with kilim back and closures. The is only a minor area of wear in the upper right hand corner of the front. The fact that itís open allows the viewer to enjoy both sides of Khamseh woven tribal art.
Notes: a Basseri bag at it finest, woven with exquisitely soft wool and with a full range of the best Khamseh colours.
