Knot count: 13 wefts/inch.
Colours: orange, blue, green and ivory for the background, cochineal pink, yellow and aqua-green for the few wool knots (7).
Condition: excellent, complete with original oak wood buckle.
Notes: Just like with Turkmen bands, Qashqa’i nomad pack bands are embellished with a plethora of Qashqa’i symbolism, some of which can be traced to prehistoric Iran.
