Knot count: 14 wrapping wefts/inch.
Colours: orange-red, light blue, dark blue, yellow, green, ivory (6).
Condition: areas of wear and oxidation, although the central ‘animal-tree’ element is in good condition and therefore readable.
Notes: this pair and the following bedding bags are all part of the same group, distinguished by the so-called ‘animal-tree’ pattern discussed in detail in a ground-breaking article (James Opie, ‘Fragments of an Ancient Puzzle’, Hali 53, October 1990, pp. 129-135).
