Knot count: 8 H x 6 V = 48 kpsi.
Colours: red, rust, sky blue, light blue, dark blue, emerald green, dark brown, ivory (8).
Condition: excellent. In full pile and complete in every respect, with a lovely striped kilim back.
Notes: a different type of weave with respect to the preceding bag, but also belonging to that large ensemble of thick piled tribal weavings referred to as ‘Gabbeh or ‘Khersak’. An arresting iconography of ancient origins.
