Notes: asymmetrically knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation
Carpets woven with a completely open field represent a genre that has become hugely fashionable today. In this fine Agra, the ivory background has a pleasing aqua colour nuance, rendered by the use of light blue wefts whose colour permeates the pile. The refined stylised leaf border perfectly frames the seemingly infinite space.
