cm 135 x 190 (4'5" x 6'3")

Notes: symmetrical knot on a cotton foundation
The distinct nature of this elegant rug is in its unusual use of only two colours, the natural ivory of wool for the background and a orange-rust for the design, composed of an infinite repeat pattern of botehs on an intricate interlace of leafs and arabesques. The final effect is more reminiscent of a fine textile rather than a piled rug.
