Notes: symmetrical knot on a wool foundation
A fascinating rug characterised by a vigorous palette and a brilliant red niche, effectively contrasting a strongly abrashed blue-green background. The yellow border is unusually decorated by sawtooth leafs without the traditional "calyxes". The soft and silky wool is typical of the tribal weavings from the mountain areas near Konya.
